Haul: Walmart, VV, Sunglasses

erm.. some random buys in the last two weeks. I swear... summer + winter = shopping high points. GAH.

Some Random Sun glass Stand in the mall:

It was 2 for $30. i'm not into spending a lot for sunglasses since i abuse them and throw them around in my purse alot. I needed a new pair for driving since my current ones ( aviators) didn't have 100% UV protection.

click photo for better look at the detail :D

I love the side detailing. All the other sunglasses there had like rhinestones on the edges and I didn't like the whole 'bling bling' look. I think the pattern gives a little bit of flavour to sunglasses that look simple from the front. Also, since I'm asian, my nose bridge = non existent, so thes sit on my cheeks ( since there are no nose pads). However, they don't hang off my face or anything, they sit quite snug and nice and don't move around or fall if I jerk my head. WOO!

Since the rest of the sunglasses were either 'bling bling' or '400UV protection' and ugly, I went with these Ray Ban-esque ones. These one are 400UV protection, but i still like them. I've never had a pair of colour framed sunglasses and these were a super cute purple :D.

Walmart:
Black Rhinestone Flip Flops - $12

I wanted to get black flip flops that would be more sturdy that those foam kind from old navy. Saw these at Walmart and I thought they were really cute.

Value Village:

White Costmetic  Pouch, 69 cents

Just went randomly browsing at VV. I was in the purse section of course ( looking for more treasure :P ). and I saw this cute little zip pouch; It's about the size of my hand. I'm going on vacation next months and I wanted to get a new makup bag. It was 69 cents and I thought ' well, what the heck, nothing to lose'. I think it was probably a gift with purchase from a Dior perfume? Not to sure. But I went home and tested it out and it holds my makeup quite nicely :D

hmm.. I should do I a ' whats in my makeup bag' post..

Ebay:

Nail Display Wheel  x 3, $2.59, seller: beauty_space88, free shipping

Bought these so that I could do a floral nail tutorial ( and other nail tutorials). My nails are quite small and short, so it'd be hard to do a tutorial with such a small surface to work on. With these, it's much easier to work with and photograph/film. I'll be doing a nail tutorial after finals ( two weeks from now) :).

I started doing some swatches on one wheel. Here's my Blue/Green wheel:.

Well, that is all for today, tomorrow I'll be doing a post on my nails and how I frankened my own polish :)
